1 Daily inspection

1. Liquid level: Conduct a full liquid level inspection once a week (replenish distilled water or deionized water about once every three days in a high-temperature environment). If the electrolyte level is too low, it will cause damage to the battery plates and partitions, and shorten the battery life. Observation method for liquid level: First, lift the liquid cap. When it is below the bottom platform of the cap, it indicates that the liquid level is too low and should be replenished with water in a timely manner; When parallel or slightly higher than the topmost platform in the liquid cap, it is the appropriate position.

2. Terminals, wires, and covers: It is necessary to regularly check the corrosion caused by oxidation at the junction of battery terminals and the connection with wires, and also check whether the cover is deformed and whether there is any heating phenomenon.

3. Appearance: Dirty battery surface can cause leakage, and the battery surface should be kept clean and dry.

2、 Maintenance

1. Water replenishment: Add distilled water or deionized water to the specified liquid level. Do not add too much distilled water to prolong the water addition interval. Adding too much water can cause a decrease in specific gravity, overflow of electrolyte, corrosion of the box and cables, affecting battery life or leakage.

2. Charging: During the charging process, the battery will generate gas. The charging area should be well ventilated and there should be no open flames around. At the same time, the oxygen and acidic gases generated during the charging process will have an impact on the surrounding area. During charging, unplugging the charging plug will generate an arc. The charger should be turned off before unplugging the plug. After charging, there is a lot of hydrogen gas trapped around the battery, and no open flames are allowed. The cover plate on the battery should be lifted for charging.

3. Balanced charging: The battery pack should undergo monthly balanced charging (i.e. low current long-term charging) to maintain battery capacity and extend battery life.

The method of balanced charging:

First, charge the battery normally. After charging is completed, press the balanced charging mode and charge continuously for 24-36 hours. In balanced charging, the voltage, density, and temperature of each battery should be measured and recorded; Before charging, the density and liquid level of the electrolyte should be adjusted to meet the requirements of the user manual.

4. The maintenance of wiring terminals, wires (connecting plates), and covers must be carried out by professional technical personnel designated by the manufacturer.

5. Cleaning: The battery should be kept clean on its surface. If there is dirt on the surface, it can cause short circuits and corrosion of the poles and connecting strips. Please use a damp cloth when cleaning, otherwise static electricity will be generated. If there are no leakage holes at the bottom of the box, try to avoid washing with water as much as possible to avoid excessive water accumulation and corrosion of the box. If there are leakage holes at the bottom of the box, water can be slowly washed in an open area.

3、 Storage

1. Storage location: cannot be short circuited; Short circuits caused by rain can lead to fires and the production of a small amount of hydrogen gas. Therefore, batteries must be stored in a ventilated and cool place.

2. Waste batteries: Waste batteries still contain electrical energy and should be stored according to the storage method used.

4、 Operation of electrolyte

1. Check the specific gravity: Use a suction type specific gravity meter to check the specific gravity. During operation, do not let the electrolyte splash out and wear protective equipment.

2. Operations other than inspection: professional consultation should be sought, especially when replenishing electrolyte.

3. Electrolyte leakage
